Portfinn Lodge - Leenaun

The beautiful fjord view from our family room was a highlight . My father enjoyed the local walking trails, while the kids loved exploring the nearby area, offering plenty of fun activities.

My kids wished for a pool to swim in.

the hotel was a fabulous base for enjoying a pretty quiet area, really close to the west coast, ireland rather the picturesque part of ireland, and killary harbour. very helpful and exceptionally nice staff who were always there to help. the venue's position was central. their food was good with a lot of meals.

Totally really really nice stay for 4 nights. Units with an extensive breakfast to cater for all dietary requirements🙂

I tell ya what, them views from the room were somethin' else. The breakfast, oh man, those eggs Benedict were like a warm hug. The folks were real nice too, makin' ya feel right at home. Just wish the room was a bit less chilly at night, but reckon it was all worth it!

Oh, the eggs Benedict at breakfast! Pure heaven. Plus, the amazing views make you linger over your meal. The bed was super comfy. It reminded me of diving into a cloud after a day of exploring.

While the room had a portable heater, it was a tad cold and showed some wear, and there was a familiar smoky scent creeping around.

Just a decent option for a weekend adventure in Leenaun with good price-value balance. The clean sheets were a relief after a long day exploring the beautiful area. Try to book an early breakfast for a better selection of food.

The really good views from the hotel perfectly complemented the friendly and helpful owners. The cozy family double room was a retreat after long days exploring the area, and the kettle with tea and milk was a thoughtful touch. The parking area can be tricky to navigate for newcomers, and occasional noise from neighboring rooms disrupted the peace at times. Dining options nearby were limited.

The location of Portfinn Lodge is stunning, with amazing fjord views that enhance the experience. While there were no dinner options on-site, Leenaun’s village grill nearby provided a satisfying alternative. The breakfast options were diverse and delicious, starting each day on a high note.

The view was spectacular. Breakfast was marvelous.-Beds were extremely comfy.-The room was cheap and airy.-The bathroom was clean.-The restaurant was good.-Staff were accommodating.-Definitely would recommend.

The stunning and lovely location with mountains made it easy to get to key attractions. The Restaurant Wild Atlantic Cafe located 1 km away was a nice surprise.- The queen room was affordable and provided amenities like a hairdryer and a kettle.- The breakfast was great, sensational with a breathtaking view.

The breakfast selection was delicious and amazing, with a breathtaking view that everyone could enjoy, and the location in lovely surroundings was particularly good for us.
